The Macallan
On the estate at Easter Elchies, by appointment. There is no bus to the door, and no pavement to walk it.
The Macallan sits on its own estate at Easter Elchies, outside Craigellachie, and the estate is clear that you come by appointment. On 10 October 2026 their visit pages said pre-booked experiences ran until 13 December 2026, with later dates put on the diary at the start of each month. They ask for the booking at least 24 hours before you arrive. Read the diary again the week you travel. Those dates move.
There is no train and no bus at the gate. The nearest stations are Elgin, Keith, and Aviemore, and the distillery says the roads to the entrance have no pavement, so walking in from Craigellachie is not the plan. A driver or a taxi, booked before you leave, is the visit. The Telford Bridge walk is the thing to do afterwards, in the village, once someone else is driving.
