The Malted Map is for anyone plotting a Scotland trip that includes a distillery, or a brewery, and then, quite sensibly, wanders off. It shows the venues, the trains and ferries, and the rest of the day: a walk, a round of golf, a spa, chocolate, or a family outing.

A button on a place opens the venue's own page. themaltedmap.com is the site. themaltedmap.co.uk sends people here.

Write to themaltedmap@gmail.com. The date on a place is the day that note was read from the venue. Doors, like the weather, reserve the right to change their mind.

A distillery, a brewery, or another place that belongs on a day out can use that same address if they would like a word about being on the map.
