Let them pour a few

These visits put more than one beer in front of you, or they leave the glass to the day. Pick one.

Watercolour of four tasting glasses
  • 71 Brewing, in Dundee, walks you past the tanks and the styles, then a tasting of four or five beers. Book it.
  • St Andrews Brewing Co. starts and ends in the taproom, with three small glasses. The tours are at the weekend, when the kit is allowed visitors.
  • Moonwake, on the Leith shore, is a walk round the brewery and a flight of three.
  • BrewDog Ellon, north of Aberdeen, sends tasters along the tour. It is an outing from the city, not a wander from Union Street.
  • Cairngorm Brewery keeps the tap room at Dalfaber, on the north side of Aviemore. On 10 October 2026 the production-floor tours had stopped. The pint had not.
  • Drygate is the beer hall in Glasgow, under the sawtooth roof. Wellpark is a couple of minutes away if the lager is the other idea.
  • Black Isle Brewery is the organic brewery on the farm at Munlochy. Their page does not name a single house beer, so ask what is pouring.
  • Isle of Skye Brewing Co. is on the pier at Uig. They still make Skye Red, the beer from 1995.

This is a direction, not a promise about the beer they pour on the day. One visit. The others can have a morning of their own.
