Askernish is the links at the south end of South Uist. The ferry is the way on, and the round wants the day it arrives in.
The Isle of Harris Distillery is in Tarbert, on Harris, which is a different island. The usual boat is from Uig on Skye, and it lands beside the door. The gin and the whisky are both made there. Give it its own day.
