The Old Course
The public links in St Andrews. A ballot two days ahead, and the other courses if it says no.
The Links Clubhouse is on West Sands Road, and the Old Course starts beside it. On 11 October 2026 their course page said the ballot is drawn 48 hours ahead: two to four players, names and home clubs and handicaps, entered online, by phone, or at a clubhouse before 2pm two days before. Their ballot page says the course is closed on Sundays, so there is no Friday draw.
A green fee for the rest of this high season, through 18 October, was listed at £355, then £250 until the end of the month. Leuchars is the station they name, ten minutes away by car. Kingsbarns, the village to the east, is a different round. If the ballot misses, the same site has the other St Andrews courses.
