Port of Leith
A vertical distillery on the Leith shore. The tour fills a miniature of new-make spirit.
Port of Leith stands on Whisky Quay, a short walk from Ocean Terminal. They call the building the tallest whisky distillery in the world, which is a fair description of a still stacked in a tower. On 10 October 2026 the tour page listed a flagship visit of about 90 minutes, Wednesday to Sunday, with a shorter Tuesday option on the booking diary. You leave with a miniature of their new-make spirit that you have filled yourself.
The bar is at the top, Wednesday to Sunday, with the firth in the window. Holyrood, under the crags, is another morning. The two are not an afternoon.
