The Glasgow Distillery is on Deanside Road in Hillington Industrial Estate. It is not in the city centre. Tours are pre-booked, the groups are small, and they open the diary in blocks, so check the dates before you promise anyone the afternoon. They say Hillington East station is about a 20-minute walk, with buses on the same road and a taxi from the centre if you would rather not think about it.
They make whisky, gin, vodka, and rum on the site. The tour is built around the whisky, and the rest of the range is there. Treat it as the day’s appointment. The Pot Still, in town, is a different night.
