Ardnahoe
The new still on Islay's north coast, with a view from the stillhouse.
Ardnahoe is on the Bunnahabhain road, on Islay’s north coast. It is the island’s newest working distillery, and the one with the long view from the stillhouse. On 10 October 2026 their tour page listed the Spirit of Ardnahoe visit at about 90 minutes, £15 for an adult and £6 for ages 8 to 17. Under-8s are not permitted. The tasting is two drams, served after 10.30am, and they will let you take them away if you are driving.
The older Islay names are still out there, each with its own pier and its own day. This page is the new door. The ferry, when you want the island, leaves from Kennacraig.
