Walk
The Birks of Aberfeldy
A wooded gorge and a set of falls above Aberfeldy, a short drive from the chocolate stop in Grandtully.
The Birks are the gorge of the Moness Burn, above Aberfeldy. WalkHighlands starts from the upper car park, or from the town square if you are on foot. The path climbs on steps, with handrails over the drops, to a bridge above the upper falls. They allow one to two hours for 3.5 kilometres.
A side path to the middle falls was closed after a landslide. Take the left-hand path they describe, and read the route again in case that has changed. Grandtully and the chocolate lounge are a different stop, down the strath. Do both only if nobody is trying to fit in a tasting as well.
