Fyne Ales
A farm brewery at the head of Loch Fyne, with a taproom every day and tours on Saturday.
Fyne Ales is at Achadunan, Cairndow, in the farm buildings at the head of Loch Fyne. On 11 October 2026 the taproom was listed seven days, 10am to 6pm, and until 8pm on Friday and Saturday. Tours were Saturdays at 12.30pm and 3.30pm, about 40 minutes, and booked by email. The standard tour was £10 with a half pint. The tasting tour was £15. They ask you to write to stewart@fyneales.com.
There is no station at the door. Arrochar and Tarbet, back down the loch, is the train, and then the road. Oban is further up the coast, and a different morning.
